Welcome to the Civil Rights Division Association (CRDA) membership site.  The CRDA is a non-partisan organization for current and former employees of the Civil Rights Division, and current and former DOJ employees who have worked on Division-related issues.  Our mission is:

Shaping the future of civil rights by honoring the legacy of the Civil Rights Division and by supporting its community of former and current employees.

As we all know, the Civil Rights Division is facing tremendous turmoil right now, and it seems that hundreds of employees will leave.  We hope the CRDA can be a source of community for networking, and mutual support.  CRDA also has a (private) LinkedIn group. You can join that group if you're interested in job postings and other posts via LinkedIn.  But please also join us here; this site is to help organize communication and membership.  We rolled out its predecessor in January 2022, and upgraded to this site in January 2026. If you're new to the CRDA, just click on the "Join" button, on the top right of this page, and tell us who you are; you'll hear back when your membership is approved.

Once you're a member, the membership directory is available (under "Member Directory") and is searchable.  Information is posted only for those members who have approved making their names public, which is most (but far from all) of our members.  If your name doesn't appear and you would like it to--or if anything else about your profile looks wrong--you'll need to edit. Just click on "for members" at the top; that will ask you to log in, and then you'll see "Edit your profile."  It would be great if you'd upload a photo, besides filling in anything else that's blank or out-of-date.

The CRDA has not needed to collect dues in many years, but if that changes, we'll use this site to facilitate.  And we are using it to organize events, too.

Thanks for participating!  Feedback on the site is welcome; just email [email protected].
